Full Description
{1-3} A former trackway of post medieval date is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as levelled earthworks and cropmarks and was mapped as part of Historic England’s North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project. Located between Wicken Hurst and Wicken Wood, Wicken, Northamptonshire, and centred at SP 73840 40321. The sinuous trackway is visible as earthworks; two ditches between 13m and 30m apart which run between the southern edge of the woodland and a former field boundary removed for field amalgamation; modern land use is arable and cropmarks are not clear.
