Full Description
{1-2} Ditches alongside a ride of medieval date are visible on remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of Historic England’s North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project. Located at the northern end of Wicken Wood, Northamptonshire, and centred at SP 72972 41169. These ditches are alongside an existing trackway in the woodland but are wider than the trackway and not as straight; they are clearly visible on lidar visualisations.
