Full Description

{1} Recorded in 1976. A two-storey house with coursed rubble walls, stone slated roof and rubble chimney stacks. It was built early in the 19th century, say c1825. The main room, on the west, has a cased beam and a corner cupboard; the east room has a rough uncased beam and a plank door leading to the stairs. A four-panel door separates the rooms. The house faces away from the lane.
[Notes state it is 12 High Street, but the description does not match the current No 12. Cannot be located.]
