Full Description

{1} The site of a 17th century house with a mid 19th century extension. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with double pitch Collyweston slate roof with chimney stacks at the gable ends.

{2} A single storey and attics house of coursed rubble with stone slated roof and rubble stacks built in the 17th or 18th century. About the third quarter of the 19th century a cottgae was added on the west and later the original house was shortened. The original house has a chamfered beam and a wide fireplace now blocked by a later hearth. Apparently original door in the front wall is partially blocked to form a window. A fragment of medieval tracery is incorporated in the stonework of the gable of the 19th century cottage.

[HER note: these cottgaes have not been located].
