Summary
On the night of the 21st/2nd June 1941 an Avro Manchester EM-Y (L7314) of 207 Squadron RAF crashed near here. The aircraft had a full payload of bombs and exploded shortly after impact killing all seven crew.

Full Description
{1, 2} Stone with inscription plaque set on a brick and stone base. The stone was used during the construction of Peterborough Cathedral and is Derbyshire Gritstone. Erected by Wollaston parish Council and public subscription.
