{1} Northampton Guildhall Extension, 1992 by Stimpson, Walton & Bond.
{2} A number of statues of notable locals are located in the courtyard of the Guildhall Extension. They include the poet John Clare, the first female MP for Northampton Margaret Bondfield and the first man of African-Caribbean descent to become a British Army Officer, Walter Tull.
{3} Sympathetic extension using patterned stone and Gothic arches, built 1991 by Maurice Walton of Stimpson & Walton. 'Very successful'
