Full Description

{1} A trial trench dug in 2019 within an orchard to locate the site of a cottage shown on an estate map of 1727. Some scattered limestone rubble was located, though no structural elements. Many pottery sherds were found and clay pipe fragments, of 18th to early 19th century date and some metal objects.
