Full Description
{1, 2} The Ladds built a house at Church End in the 1970s on the site of a former stone barn (where the Duke of Grafton is said to have kept his carriage and horses whilst he attended church). During the construction of the foundations, a pottery kiln was exposed. Some of the pottery was kept by the family. An almost intact jug dating from the 14th century was kept by a builder and was subsequently returned to the family. The jug was selected for display at the 2025 'Histories of Northamptonshire' exhibition.
