Assemblage of animal bone found during gravel extraction at Grendon Quarry in the 1960s. Identified by the British Museum as roe deer, red deer, ox, sheep and goat and presumed to be Neolithic or Bronze Age.

{1} Probably found 1962 or 1964. Bones identified by British Museum. Bags of ox, red deer, roe deer, sheep and goat. Presumably Bronze Age, or Neolithic, approximate location only, left lying about by gravel extraction.
