The heavily truncated remains of a Bronze Age round barrow ring ditch was identified during archaeological excavation at Pineham Barns.

Full Description
{1} Archaeological excavations at Pineham Barns identified a ring ditch in the SMS 2 excavation area. It comprised a continuous circular ditch with an internal diameter of 15m. There was no distinctive evidence of a bank either side of the ditch. Two worked flint flakes were the only finds. Three pits within the circumference of the ring ditch were also devoid of finds.
