Summary
Cropmarks of a late prehistoric pit alignment identified on aerial photograph. It is traceable for c190m and is aligned north-east to south-west. To the north-east it appears to be truncated by later gravel pits and to the south-west it is visible as far as the track and only very fainlty visible on the opposite side. Evidence from excavated examples suggests that they tend to date to the late Bronze Age-early Iron Age.
