Full Description
{1} Painted advertisement on the south-facing elevation of the two-storey brick building known as Brafield Stores Ltd, 31 Bedford Road, Brafield on the Green. The sign comprises black lettering on a yellow rectangular background and bears the inscription 'BRAFIELD POST OFFICE & STORES'. The sign is very poorly legible due to surface loss and is partially overlain by later signage. The building has a tiled roof and remains in use as a shop. A second painted sign above the shop canopy has been largely obliterated but formerly bore the inscription 'The Village Store With So Much More' in red lettering on a yellow background.
