Ghost sign advertising Dartnell's Prize Medal Ginger Beer on a terraced house at 25 Marriott Street.

{1} Painted sign on the east-facing elevation of the three-storey brick terraced building at 25 Marriott Street. The sign comprises black lettering on a yellow background with indented corners and bears the inscription 'ASK FOR DARTNELL'S PRIZE MEDAL GINGER BEER'. The sign is fairly legible despite areas of flaking paintwork. The black lettering has faded to a bluish hue in places and areas of the original brickwork are visible through the painted surface. The building has a tiled roof and remains in residential use. The sign shares the wall with two other painted brick advertisements, although it is uncertain whether these are contemporary with one another.
