Full Description

{1}About 4 timber huts an, an unidentified subterranean structure (possibly unrelated) and some large whitwashed shed of Brick (?) with asbestos roof and timber doors.,{3}Oral testimony from Mr J Springings, local resident - "built as an army camp during the WWII and housed the Royal Army Servie Corps for nearly all of that war. Other units used it during the latter months of the war and for a period after. It was never an operational site, such as search light or anti-aircraft activity."
