Full Description
{1} Brington Platoon, C Company, 9th Battalion, Northants Home Guard. The platoon headquarters were in the Old Saracen's Head public house, "…in the room to the right of the entrance….". There are references to sentry huts and to the use of local rubbish pits for practice grenade throwing etc.
