{1} With reference to Delapre Park: "In 1944, during the Second World War, the Abbey and its grounds were requisitioned by the Ministry of Defence and used as an Infantry training camp. It was administered from Northampton Barracks, with around one hundred and twenty soldiers of all ranks being stationed there."
