Full Description

{2} In adjoining field west of Blacklands skeleton found in 'cistern' with bone pin and a 'celt of serpentine'; illustration.

{3} {4} A Celt of greenstone found at Kings Sutton 'Roman station'. The stone bears similarities to that found in both the West Indies and southern England. Size: 4.5in long and 2.5in broad.

{5} In the west part of the site a skeleton associated with a bone pin and ‘celt of serpentine’ is also recorded. The ‘celt’ is probably the otherwise unlocated jade axe from King’s Sutton.
