Full Description

{1} Formerly the hamlet known as Quinton Green. Today the hamlet consists of a farm and a small group of cottages on the west side of the road. However, in the 1815 Enclosure Map these lay on one side of an open triangular area known as The Great Green. Nothing is known of its history but it may have been a relatively late settlement on the edge of Salcey Forest.
