{1} Finds from 1947-8
{2} Roman pottery, chiefly late red colour-coated wares, has been picked up in ploughed fields to the north west of Croughton village, centred SP538343
{3} No recent finds.
{4} Objects from metal detecting include 63 Roman coins of 3rd and 4th century date, brooch fragments and other material.
{5} All the land in this area is arable; no additional information on this site was obtained.
{6} Fieldwalking survey by Hall in 1994 found Roman pottery and prehistoric worked flint.
