Full Description

{1} Romano British pottery, tile and coins were found on 24/9/1959. Finds are now with Kettering Museum.

{3} The area surrounding the shrines has revelaed traces of widespread occupation from the late Iron Age until the end of the fourth century AD. Sites A to F represent the main concentrations of occupation.

{4} {4} Both this site and that to the south (HER no 101/0/9) fall in an area of re-afforestation. Almost certainly associated with the Roman temple (SP 98 NE 9) on the opposite side of the road.
