Full Description

{1} The largest area of earthworks lies immediately west of the southern green. Long narrow closes bounded by low scarps or shallow ditches extend down the hillside towards the stream. These appear to be the abandoned gardens of houses which once stood on the west side of the green but which had already disappeared by 1848.
