Full Description
{1} A subrectangular pond, 50m by 20m, has been formed by the cutting away of the valley side of the north and the construction of a large bank or dam up to 2m high on the south and west. The main dam on the west has now been broken to allow water to drain from the pond. In the surrounding area there are several undatable drainage ditches. The pond is probably a medieval fishpond or mill pond.
