Full Description

{1} To the east were other earthworks now also destroyed by ploughing. These included a long pond with an embanked north side orientated east-west, possibly a mill pond or a fishpond.

{2} C. Orr says that this is not possible as a fish pond as its up a hill. There used to be clay pits for brick works here in the 19th century.
