Full Description

{1} Earthwork of part of Watling Street, shown as the original agger of a Romano-British road. It appears from the south west side of a cutting of the A5 as a low bank, 10-12m wide x 0.5m high, running south east for 200m. It stops above the mill pon at Cuttle Mill (SP71714653) and it is possible there was a bridge across at this point.
