Full Description
{1} 'Walking as far as the 'Harborough Arms' the party turned to the left towards Mr Beesley's Mill to inspect two tumuli or barrows in a field between the mill and the main line of the L and NW railway…Our party, after inspecting these two mounds, returned to cross a field immediately on the north of Mr Beesley's house to look at a third, and following the footpath towards Duston Mill a fourth barrow was visible';
{2} None of the barrows has survived development;
{5}Two tumuli; notes say Duston not St James'End although description sites earthworks in meadows to immediate south of St James' End;
{8} No visible remains.
