A ditch containing Roman pottery was identified during development of a new industrial estate.

Full Description

{2} Ditch (SP 782592), in the extreme north-east of the parish, on gravel at 59 m above OD. During building work on the new industrial estate part of a ditch, about 1.5 m wide, was noted. A single sherd of Roman grey ware was recovered.
