Full Description
{1} Baker visited the site and recorded a "large inverted cinerary urn" from the gravel pit which still remains north of Thrupp Lodge.
{2} A large inverted cinerary urn, found in Mr. Radburn's pit at 3ft below the ground surface.
{3} Thrupp Grounds was occupied by John Radburn and the field mentioned by Baker is called Garvel Pit Field. Radburn's pit may be that at SP59646516.
