Full Description

{1} At the northern tip of Borough Hill Camp was the skeleton of a man deposited in a cist composed of large sarcen stones, a spearhead by his side. It was dug up by labourers a few years ago.

{2, 5} One of the Anglo-Saxon Spear heads from Borough Hill Camp in the possession of W. Edgar (see AO:60:381:3A on SP 56 SE 22) may be from this site.
