Full Description

{1} A skeleton was found in Room E of the Roman villa, lying north-south with a spearhead by its side.

{2} Found by Botfield in 1852.

{3} Probably one of the spearheads illustrated and described as Anglo-Saxon, SP56SE22 (SN631/0/0).

{4} Anglo-Saxon Spear Heads from Borough Hill Camp. In the possession of W. Edgar. [See AO:60:381:3A. One may be from SP 56 SE 1. The other from SP 56 SE 24] (1-2)
