Summary
A church survey was undertaken in May 1978 by Northamptonshire Archaeology. This found that the churchyard was built on elevated ground and 18th and 19th stone remains were identified.

Full Description
{1} The church was built on elevated ground above village. Surrounded by village housing on all sides. The surrounding wall is 1.4m high from the pavement. At the time, there was significant clearance to the east and north. This revealed a wall where the stone remains are 18th and 19th century in date.
