Suggested site of possible Bronze Age round barrow

Full Description

{1} Barrow 250yds east of Green's Park Farm at SP631478. Not visible on aerial photographs.

{2} A tumulus is marked on the map at SP 633481. It is probably an inaccurate siting for the above, the map having obvious inaccuracies.

{3} May refer to mound at SP63774819 SN673 OS Card SP64NW20. No remains visible on the ground.

{4} Extensive perambulation about both the above noted references produced nothing of archaeological interest. It is possible that the mound at SP 6377 4819 (SP 64 NW 20) is that referred to.
