Full Description

{1} In the south-east of the village at SP67958245 is an area called The Green in both 1787 and 1841. On the later map a hedge is shown on the south-west side of The Green and appears to follow the line of a steep scarp 1.5m high above which the ridge and furrow terminates. The scarp may therefore be the boundary of the old green.
