Full Description

{2} Pottery of the 3rd and 4th centuries, tiles and iron slag were found here in 1965.

{4} South of Burcote Wood, SP 696 459, J Marchant found 3rd and 4th century sherds tiles and iron slag

{5} The fields to the south of Burcote Wood are under pasture and plough, nothing of interest was seen. Mr J Marchant is resident in Buckingham and was not contacted.
