Find Spot record 722/0/0 - Unstratified Iron Age & Romano-British Coins

Possibly from Wood Burcote Villa.

{1} A bronze coin of Cunobelinus and a specimen of British 'ring-money' (usually a term for a base metal ring with a gold covering, Iron Age) were found at Wood Burcote (SP 6946)

{2} Finds of numerous coins including a bronze coin of Cunobelinus, Mack 242.

{3} Roman coins of AD C3rd and C4th. Northampton Museum has no closer locational data.

{4} Probably from the villa site 1km to the west.

{5} Northampton Museum could offer no closer siting information. They "believe" the ring was forwarded to the BM early in the century.
