Full Description
{1} Watching brief at the Saracens Head hotel refurbishment recovered quantities of Romano-British pottery. A pit containing pottery was also seen. The lower stratigraphy exposed may possibly be of Romano-British date but this is not proven and an interpretation was not possible due to access difficulties.
