Full Description
{1} Allen's Yarde, 1988, excavation by S.Parry revealed drains, a concrete water channel and cistern. Pottery recovered was mostly unstratified, but C1st-C2nd AD.
{2} The Roman Alchester Road and side roads were also observed. The earliest phase was represented by postholes.
