Full Description
{1} Small, silver, Anglo-Saxon mount, pyramid shaped with chip-carving and niello inlay on the sloping faces and a square coloured stone at the apex, found c.1974 and given to Northampton Museum. The mount resembles those found at Sutton Hoo.
{3} 2:1 scale drawing. Electrum Anglo-Saxon belt stud with niello inlay strips and garnet; gold in 'chips'.
