Full Description
{1} Finds from June 1883. Romano-British kiln bars found outside Hunsbury hillfort on the west side, along with 'British' earthenware vessels and human skeletons. Drawing of 1885 of the kiln bars, copied from a drawing by Pitt Rivers.
{2} To the north-west of the villa, immediately outside the entrance to the hillfort, there was evidence for a Roman pottery kiln and a possible cemetery.
