Monument record 130/4/5 - Duke's Fishpond

Site of fishpond formerly located south west of the town in the valley of a small south east flowing stream. The area north of the stream was known as The Dukes Fishpond in the early 19th century. In 1978 large blocks of masonry perhaps from the original dam were discovered.
