Full Description

{1} Inhumation found in 1813 near footpath to Whilton.

{3} 1813 in field near footpath to Whilton; fieldname: Great Shawney; labourer found prone skeleton with head near brook; several coins lay at its side.

{4} Probably same location as finds of 1837.

{5} Baker recorded that a skeleton & some Constantinian coins were found in 1813 "….in a field called Great Shawney near footpath to Whilton….".
