Full Description
{1} Possible Saxon stones are built into the existing church fabric, and a possible Saxon "incised" grave slab is leaning against the church tower wall.
{2} The base stones of the old churchyard cross now stand in the churchyard as the foundation of the modern cross.
{3} The above information probably refers to the massive uninscribed cross situated at SP 68917818, which stands on a base of plain stones with brick foundations. The base stones cannot be dated, but have the appearance of having been turned.
