Full Description
{1} Roman pottery has been found.
{2} Fields along the route of the A14 were walked but revealed little, although walking in other fields directly to the south has defined several scatters of Mesolithic flints and Romano-British pottery.
[HER note 12/11/2014: it is not certain from how Barcham's text is worded whether Mesolithic flint also came from this site, or whether it applies only to the site c. 1km to the west.]
{3} Roman pottery found by fieldwalking.
