Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking has produced Roman pottery from SP692700, SP694708 and SP696706.

{2} Roman pottery has been found over an area of about 1.5ha, centred on SP695707. Two sherds of early Saxon pottery are also recorded from the site.

{3} Very faint cropmarks, possibly archaeological. Info: Foard G. 25/10/1979. NCCAP:SP6970/002.

{4} (SP 696708). The site of a ditch cropmark (possibly agricultural) on AP in 1979.
