Full Description

{1}Says "... part of C13-14th jug & complete C14th jug found at corner of Dychurch Lane in 1955 ..." (SP75576053)(M60). [This is a probable mis-interpretation of museum records copied to M60 which mention finds of only 5 sherds from 2 C13th pitchers found by museum curator whilst foundations being dug at 8-18 Abington Street.]

{2} 4 adjoining fragments of C13th green-glazed pitcher with applied stripes & stamped decoration & including part of base; also fragment of another similar jug; found whilst digging foundations for eastern end of new office block at 8-18 Abington Street; picked up by curator.

[source unknown: 13th century pitcher with applied stripes and stamped decoration, found during digging foundations in Abington Street.]
