Full Description

{1} Features discovered pre 1849. A medieval pottery kiln. "…at the West end of Newlands is a field called the Potters Field. The kiln attached is probably in this field'.

{2} Fragments of probable medieval yellow and red pot sherds, some with a green glaze, possibly from SP75456075.

{3} Similar finds to those discovered by Mr E.T. Artis. Fragments of yellow and red pottery, some with green glaze suggesting medieval ware.
