Full Description

{1} Ironstone-lined well 1-1.5m diameter observed before backfilling during housing development; over 30ft deep according to contractors; contained a wooden pumpstick in two sections and iron valve or filter; finds photographed; lower half waterlogged; solid base with inlets on four sides to hollowed channel; further details given.
