Full Description

{1} The earthworks cover a roughly rectangular area 80m by 220m, bounded on the north east and south east by modern hedges, by the farm on the south west and on the north west by a low bank and ditch which separate them from the adjacent ridge and furrow. Two low banks and ditches running north west - south east divide the area into three small closes. If the settlement only ever consisted of one farmstead then the surviving earthworks could represent only abandoned paddocks.
