Summary
A possible cropmark of an enclosure has been identified on aerial photographs and fieldwalking survey has recovered a significant amount of Roman pottery and other finds.

Full Description
{1} A partial faint rectilinear enclosure or possibly an oblong ditch noted on aerial photographs (NCCAP:SP9695/7+8)
{2} Fieldwalking survey in February-March 1991 identified a significant scatter of Roman pottery including colour-coat, grey ware, calcite gritted wares, Samian, whiteware and mortaria. Sherds of amphora and Black Burnished ware were also recovered and a sherd of late Iron Age/Roman transitional ware. Roman glass, many flint flakes, oyster shell and furnace slag as well.
