Full Description

{1} A small bronze-gilt Anglo-Saxon shield disc - 6th to 7th century. Said to have been found in 1957 at Greatworth. In Northampton Museum Accession No D155/1969.

{2} Described as a 'disc brooch' by RCHME.

{3} An Anglo-Saxon gilt-bronze disc brooch was found in 1957, probably in Greatworth. Location: Northampton Museum.
