Summary

Archaeological watching brief was maintained during topsoil stripping for a borrow pit. Only a small number of undated features were encountered together with small quantities of unstratified pottery and flint.

Full Description

{2} Archaeological watching brief undertaken during topsoil strip for a borrow pit as part of the A1-M1 construction. Only a small number of undated features were encountered. Unstratified finds from the site: 6 medieval pottery sherds, 1 unclassified pottery sherd, and 12 waste flint flakes.
